A new Sarah Bush Lincoln self-scheduling service will go live on Jan. 6, allowing people to schedule appointments with their primary care providers.
SBL Specialty Clinic Director April Clark explained, “Self-scheduling is easy to use and it’s available whenever people have the time to schedule an appointment, even when the office is closed.”
This service allows people to schedule appointments with their primary care provider online at any time with any device, eliminating the need to call their provider’s office. Examples of appointments that can be scheduled through the service include new health concerns, follow-ups, and work, sport and annual physicals. Other appointment types may be available in the future.
Appointments with specialty clinics are not available through this service and must be made by calling the specialties’ office.
When accessing the service, only basic information is required to begin scheduling, and people will be presented with all available appointments with their provider.
The service will available on the SBL website at the Make Appointment tab, or at the following link: https://sarahbush.myhealthdirect.com/decisionSupport/workflow.
