SBL Hospice Binga set for September 3

August 20, 2024 9:36 a.m.

The Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation will host its 17th annual SBL Hospice Binga on Tuesday, September 3, at the Mattoon Eagles Club, 1917 Oak Avenue. Net proceeds support an  endowment for SBL Willow Breeze Hospice House.

Contributions to Hospice Binga directly impact people throughout East Central and Southern Illinois by helping those with limited resources pay for their stay at Willow Breeze. “Willow Breeze has already impacted many families in the region,” SBL Special Events Officer Kim Lockart said. “Proceeds from Hospice Binga will support the endowment and ensure that we can continue to help families who need assistance.”

Admission tickets are sold out, but you can still be a winner by purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win a 10th generation, silver Apple iPad featuring a 10.9-inch liquid retina display with 256 GB of storage. Thank you to County Office Products Inc. in Charleston for its generous donation. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each, or three for $10. The winner will be drawn on Sept. 3 during Hospice Binga, but you need not be present to win.

SBL would also like to thank this year’s Partner, Blake’s Shining Star & the Durdel Family, and  Title Sponsors: Alco Overhead Doors, LLC; Commercial Electric; Cromwell Media; First Neighbor Bank; Ken & Christy Maleske; and Washington Savings Bank.
